Bah Humbug..!!

Scrooge Alert…
Frankly, this year, I seem to have very little cause to celebrate. I’ve plenty of things to be grateful for and plenty of things to be happy about on a daily basis but Christmas always seems to me to get more and more selfish year on year.
It’s a wonderful time for children but despite my best efforts I get less childish each year.
…..and don’t start me on New Year….
Being in the construction industry during a recession and a global financial meltdown does not fill me full of enthusiasm for 2009. I use the Christmas break to catch up on DIY projects, sleep and waistline expansion, none of which is a cause for celebration.
These years I tend to celebrate its passing....
